5 Ingredient Paleo Waffles

The name of this recipe honestly speaks for itself. These 5 Ingredients Paleo Waffles are, you guessed it, made with 5 ingredients and suitable for anyone following a paleo lifestyle!

Before we get into the recipe details, I want to share an update and talk a little bit about why you see that maple syrup drizzle. Well, one, it’s because my dad is the g.o.a.t and orchestrated the beautiful syrup pour while I took the picture. Can you say “teamwork?” Second, it’s because I’m eating maple syrup again and used it to make these 5 Ingredient Paleo Waffles, but you can also use honey, too. Here’s the thing. I’ve added maple syrup back because I’ve found that even though it’s not SCD, I can tolerate it a million times better than honey. The additions I’ve been making are things I’ve discussed in-depth with my doctors and nutritionists in order to create the best plan of action for me in regards to where I am right now. It’s about doing what works for YOU, what YOU’RE comfortable with, and what YOUR body is telling you. Our bodies and our needs are so individualized. What works for one person may not work for another and at the end of the day, you gotta do you, boo.

Okay, now, onto the waffles. These 5 Ingredient Paleo Waffles are the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and cakey in the middle. Just how I, personally, like waffles to be. I don’t know if cakey is a word but it sure as heck is now.

I love to serve them with bananas and refined sugar free chocolate chips, because that just screams the best kind of sweet breakfast to me. I feel like these 5 Ingredient Paleo Waffles could honestly even double as a dessert dish with how good they are.
